A contemporary extension has been added to a detached house in Whitley Bay’s Red House Farm Estate, featuring an open plan kitchen, dining area, and family lounge to create a spacious living space.

 

The design focuses on capturing views of the local surroundings, with the kitchen incorporating large glazed areas, modern skylights to maximize natural light, and a vaulted ceiling for added openness. Stone cladding and brickwork combine to offer a blend of modern and traditional styles, while a simple, contemporary landscaping scheme enhances the connection to the outdoors.
